Our Service Area

History of Upper Georgia Avenue

Georgia Avenue is a major north-south artery of Washington D.C. surrounded by historic residential communities. Much of the area's early notoriety was attached to the world-class Walter Reed Army Medical Center which, from its opening in 1909 to its closing in 2011, played an outsized role in the lives of thousands of people.

Upper Georgia Avenue Business Inventory

As a resource to the community, we have assembled an inventory of all 300+ businesses currently in operation along the corridor. If you are the owner of a business on the corridor that is not currently listed, if you would like to update your listing, or if you would like any additional business support, please contact us here.
